The Group
An innovative group
From a workshop in the Black Forest to a company operating internationally – this sums up the development of the fischer Group since it was founded in 1948. The Group, led by the Fischer family, has always been proud of its roots: its headquarters are still in Waldachtal-Tumlingen in the northern Black Forest, about 60 kilometres south-west of Stuttgart.
The Group is characterised by a strong capacity for innovation, which has enabled it not only to bring new products to market but also to develop new business areas: Fixing Systems, Toys and Consulting.
Its production plants and more than 50 subsidiaries are located in Argentina, Brazil, China, Germany, Italy, the Czech Republic and the USA. Last year, with more than 5,900 employees worldwide, the Group achieved consolidated turnover of €1.2 billion.

Fixing Systems
The core business is Fixing Systems, with over 14,000 products.
Technik
With fischertechnik, the company also caters for younger customers. The kits are a classic among innovative, modern construction toys, and feature PLCs that can be connected to a PC.
Consulting
The newest business area, fischer Consulting, grew out of the expertise developed within the Group. The fischer Process System (fPS) aims at the continuous improvement of business processes, both for Group companies and for external clients.
Electronic Solutions
fischer’s Electronic Solutions division supplies and develops electronic services, such as EMS and touch input systems.
Innovative Moulds
fischer’s Innovative Moulds division designs, manufactures, qualifies and maintains high-precision injection moulds.
Innomation
The Innomation division designs, builds and digitalises highly automated industrial assembly systems.
